Quartz Hill Records' blue-collar storyteller Nate Barnes today released his take on one of the holiday season's quintessential classics, "Jingle Bell Rock."
This lively cover of country singer Bobby Helms’ 1957 holiday evergreen is faithful to the original but adds Barnes’ trademark swagger. He co-produced the track – written by Jim Boothe and Joe Beal – with guitar ace David “Messy” Mescon.
Barnes’ debut single, “You Ain’t Pretty,” became the No. 1 Most Added Song by a Debut Artist at U.S. Country Radio (Mediabase) upon its release. The rising country star is now putting the finishing touches on his debut full-length album, due out in early 2025. Barnes recently released his second song from the album, the cinematic “Something Else Tonight.”
