NASHVILLE, TN – Quartz Hill Records artist Nate Barnes is set to premiere his new, summertime anthem, “Love in the Country,” this Thursday, June 20 on WSM’s “Coffee, Country & Cody” ahead of its release across all streaming and digital retail partners on Friday, June 21.

Pre-Save/ Pre-Add “Love in the Country” HERE.

Written by country music powerhouses Ryan Hurd, Jordan Schmidt, Ernest Smith and Geoffrey Warburton, “Love in the Country,” is a toe-tappin’, head-boppin’ sing-along anthem that’s sure to appeal to everyone from the big cities to deep into the heart of rural America.

Produced by Derek George (Randy Houser) and Ilya Toshinskiy (Jelly Roll), the song possesses a chorus that makes the listener want to clap their hands and get up and dance while the bridge mirrors a summer romance between young lovers without a care in the world.

“‘Love in the Country’ reminds me of young love. Growing up in small town Michigan, there wasn’t much to do but take your date to the movies, hang out at late night bonfires or sit on the back of your truck bed and talk all night. And sometimes you just want to get out in the country to spend a little time together one-on-one,” says Barnes.

Fans will get their first, full listen of, “Love in the Country,” when it premieres on WSM’s “Coffee, Country & Cody” on Thursday, June 20. Barnes will stop by the studio in the 8am CT hour to premiere the song, perform live in-studio and talk new music with hosts Bill Cody, Charlie Mattos and Kelly Sutton.

WSM’s “Coffee, Country & Cody” can be heard worldwide at WSMradio.com and at the WSM & iHeartRadio app. Fans can watch live in-studio via the CIRCLE on CircleNow app and various streaming services including Roku, Samsung TV Plus, Peacock, Vizio, Xumo, Redbox, Sling and Fubo.
