“Some of my best childhood memories are of me and my granddad, cousins and everyone going to Simpson Lake back home in Michigan and fishing. That was a big deal for us as kids and it really brought us together as a family. When I first heard ‘Sing It Again,’ it made me relive those memories. I hope people hear this song and it helps them relive good times as well,” said Barnes.

“I grew up listening to 90s country and, when I first heard ‘Wheels Go Round,’ it brought me back to so many great country artists that influenced me – like Brooks & Dunn. This song is a perfect example of why I love country music and why I wanted to do this. It tells a real story and that’s what I want to do as an artist,” continued Barnes.

Barnes’ most recent releases “Country Does”’ and “Make A Wildflower Grow” shared everything there is to love about rural living and growing a budding relationship – which parallels to last year’s break-out debut single, “You Ain’t Pretty,” that impacted as the #1 Most Added Country Song by a DEBUT Artist at U.S. Country Radio.
